Ang Juan sa Misa!! =))

A man from a mass or just what I expressed in Filipino terms " Ang Juan sa Misa". Juan is a term that Philippines refer to us, Filipinos or the mass. Well, it is pretty obvious that Filipinos are pretty religious and I am one of those and proud of it!! =))

In the 4th Commandment of God, "Remember to keep Holy the Sabbath's Day", it tells us that we must be always present during the Sabbath's day or Sunday in which we celebrate our Holy Mass. I stay true to this vow since last June only because I really wanted to be a good person for others as well. I think it is important for me to always observe my Sundays by going to mass together with my family.

Just like what I felt about going to church on my earlier posts on this blog, it kinda helped me relax all or everything. It is such a comfort to be and communicate with God and to see a lot of people form as a family on this one day of the week.

I think it is not that hard of a task to do, it would not ruin your "busy" day by going to church, PROMISE!! =)) ..

Just like here on my post, the picture shows a man went to church to attend the "SIMBANG GABI" or Misa De Gallo in which is very known for us. One of the priest said during one of the 9 masses that we attend to, "Magpasalamat kayo dahil tayo, nakakapag-celebrate ng pasko na mas maaga sa mga ibang nayon" =)).. I am glad about this fact because that is what Christmas is all about, celebrating the birth of Christ!! =))

So there's one more mass that is important before January 1, 2010,the New Year's eve Mass. Haha.. Enjoy!!=))

A Holiday Fireworks Story!! =))

Resumption of Classes are nearing for us students in which I am really not that excited about because there would be a lot of works again. But still, I could not get this holiday season out of my system. This Christmas season was the most memorable one for me because it was my first time to go to a Simbang Gabi or Misa de Gallo in which I already missing it. =((

A lot of things happened this Christmas Holiday and I am pretty much sure that there would be a lot more this coming New Year's Day. And with New Year's Day on its name, it means fireworks. Well, for us Filipinos, fireworks do mean a lot during new year's day.

Fireworks according to the sayings that they take bad spirits away and that it brings good fortune. Even though fireworks are banned in certain provinces, I am pretty sure that fireworks would still be present everywhere you look.

I am pretty sure that when you are looking at a fireworks display, there would be a smile on your face. I am sure that brings out the kid in you.

Once again, I am pretty aware that you know what happens in MOA every weekends, fireworks. So here are just some of the pictures that I took during a fireworks display. Enjoy!! =))

The UP Singing Ambassadors!! =))

I want all of you to know a little background about me. During High-school, I have been known to everyone that I am their Photographer/Paparazzi which was a joke at first because I only wanted to take pictures of my classmates for me to document memories which is so important. And believe it or not, I am part of the Letran Chorale Guild, which leads me to this post.

This post is all about the UP Singing Ambassadors and I am really proud to be a Filipino for they won competitions outside the Philippines. I sure heard them from mp3s and others but thank God, I was at the Mall of Asia when they performed. I am really glad that I am pretty lucky to hear them singing tunes for this holiday season. They were good , actually pretty good.

As part of the chorale during high-school, based on what i have heard, they surely would go a longer way. I am confident that they would achieve more and more awards. haha

The UP Singing Ambassadors already proved their worth as a choir. They were actually pretty fun to watch especially their conductor, Sir Edgardo Manguiat, in which he made the audience participate in singing(see the last photo) and that is one important thing.

Pls enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed hearing the UP Singing Ambassadors. =))

The Christmas Globe!! =))

I am pretty sure that each and everyone of you are familiar with Christmas Snow Globes wherein you would lift it upside down then snows start to fall on the subject in it, mostly houses, that it actually mimics a snow event. It all made us happy seeing these things even though it is just pretty small compared to what you can see in real life.

Just like my past posts, this blog entry would show you how Mall of Asia( MOA ) devised or innovated their huge Globe outside wherein everyone can view it, not only those who passes MOA but it can also be seen from a far. So in order for us to appreciate their huge stainless steel Globe, they did something incredible with this this time around.

Innovations are pretty important especially when you are in a huge market and you need to attract new customers. That's probably what Henry Sy thought of doing with his dream-come true, which is MOA. Even though MOA is famously known, he still wanted to bring joy to everyone. He fixed the exterior especially my subject for this post which is the Globe; he put up a lights show. The globe changes its images every minute or probably 30 seconds or so. The image rotates first through the use of the lights then changes. It's pretty cool on how they managed to create this kind of huge Christmas Globe.

So here's the pictures, though these shots were just taken from a single spot for I cannot cross the street.hehe..enjoy.. =))

A Christmas Celebration!! =)) (v.01)

First of all, I would ask all of you on how do you celebrate your Christmas. Probably, you're on a vacation, you're at home or you're probably go out and go to a mall, just like what we did. Hehe.. Well, actually the following photos were taken 2 weeks ago but still, we went to MOA yesterday to celebrate our Christmas.

Christmas is a Celebration wherein everyone must enjoy it for it is our day. It is also day of our Dear Lord, Jesus Christ. It's time to share things and give love to others. It is very important that we live this day freely that we should not worry about things. We need to appreciate life more on this day for joy and love must reign over ourselves.

Celebrating Christmas is so much fun especially when you go out with your families. But all of us celebrate this differently. Just like what I typed earlier, there are a lot of ways to celebrate. Just like us, during daytime, we went to Church, probably you already know what Church it is if you are following my blog. Haha.. The Minor Basilica of San Lorenzo Ruiz(Binondo Church) is that church and everyone seems so happy even though the mass was celebrated very simple. THen afterwards, I went watching with my dad, not an MMFF film but The Avatar on IMAX 3d and it was so good that I waited for this film for 1 and 1/2 years..hehe.. Then enjoyed MOA for the rest of the night,

So these pictures are the Christmas Decos of Moa. =))

You, I'll ask you again, How did you celebrate your Christmas? =))

Bro, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko: Different faces of a Star

Are all Filipinos here know the song "Bro, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko"? Well, I think that all of you probably heard this song in a radio, street, from a friend and especially in television, specifically on ABS-CBN network.

This song really is captivating that almost everyone that I passed by are singing their hearts out with this song. The main theme that DOS(ABS-CBN) did was about Stars as a symbol for our God They are giving us the message that God must be centered during this holiday season. We must all celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The music video features a lot celebrities together with an ordinary people which made this campaign pretty effective. They did show that stars are a huge influence in this country and through them, we could promote a better Christmas for everyone. The stars probably bring joy to almost every Filipinos. Every Filipinos are known for smiling even for just little things that we receive.

I really admire each and everyone of us that despite chaos and problems that we, Filipinos, face, we still managed to celebrate Christmas the way we wanted it to be even though it would be very simple. Having all of the family present on that day makes everything worthwhile.

Christmas day brings all of us together to one purpose. Christmas Day means that we must be able to develop our faith in God for He truly is the One that helps us and guides us. So in the next two days, we must be able to enjoy every moment for Christmas Season only happens once a year.

Live life to the fullest before the year ends and Celebrate Christmas with all of joy in your heart. =))

The following pictures show different Stars that I took. hehe..

Getting Ready!! =))

People late were kinda in a rush for, I think, Christmas is pretty nearing and that everybody wanted to fix things before it is about time, which is Christmas Day. Everyone would really love to prepare a lot for Christmas Day, especially us, Filipinos, who really makes this day very special, as in very special.

This day really makes me happy and sad at the same time. But before Christmas time would be right for you and your loved ones, we must work hard first so we can be able to get the things that we wanted for us and the things that we wanted to give to others.

People are workaholic but it is something for a great cause. I am pretty sure that you yourself would save a lot for you to buy yourself a Christmas Gift.

Just like on my set, these people were kinda rushed at the early of the morning just to get things done as soon as they can. Probably, they would go to work to get there on time. This also showed how their spirits were during this morning that the photo was taken.

Love them or love them, we must love them. Hehe. These people showed different emotions based on their day. ??? I don't know anymore what to say.. Hehe..

Enjoy the pics!!

Piz out y'all. I'll be posting only one for this day. And I'll be out for the next 2 days because of our seminar. Hehe.. Nyt y'all .. Yngtz =))
